Sadly, I found out because of 'Time Machine', a disgustingly obvious Chrononauts ripoff, but I rather like the game 'Copyright Fight', at least for the idea (no idea if it's playable). And the whole idea might intrigue some of you.

because while it hadn't gotten *dirty*, what it had gotten was messy...there were lots of things in the wrong places, basically. Piles of cds on the computer side table, the coffee table, the futon, the floor and the lizard hutch for some reason. Clean clothes on the back of the futon where they were put when I folded them while watching a DVD but they went no further. Origami books all over the coffee table, along with many square pieces of paper and things that were going to be hawks but they got abandoned at step 15 when I suddenly realized where something in step 7 was supposed to have gone. Etc.

So there's been a lot of 'pick up, move to where it's supposed to be, repeat' tonight. I'd been keeping my apartment clean, because we never knew when Chris was going to be able to make it down for a weekend, but then his work was silly about some weekend work, and other things happened, and I got lazy, and suddenly the apartment was a big pile of 'ok, how did *that* happen?' (and dragging a life-size decoupage torso home the other day didn't help cut down on the crap amount in the apartment).

But now, while I need to do more laundry (bed stuff needs done again), the house is at least no longer embarrassing. And I only locked one cat in the closet (poor ashke - I know when I closed those doors, so I know he was in there for a good hour or so, and all I can hope is that when I heard the thumping he'd just woken up and climbed out of the box he'd been sleeping in, as opposed to having gotten desperate).

and then we put all our money together, and we make an offer on the island, and we all move to the Honduras and set up a data haven. There's already a generator and some satellite equipment on the island....
